DungeonTome Content Policy

DungeonTome is for turning your tabletop sessions into recaps, notes, quests, loot, locations, and memories your party can enjoy between games.

We want summaries to feel useful and true to your table. It is okay to reference the characters, places, monsters, factions, items, settings, and events that appeared in your own session, as long as your use is allowed by law, by permission, or by any applicable fan content policy.

Keep it as your own recap

Please make sure anything you edit, upload, publish, or share through DungeonTome is based on your own session and your own words.

Do not use DungeonTome to copy, upload, or republish material you do not have permission to use, including:

• Text copied from rulebooks, adventures, campaign books, novels, articles, or websites
• Official artwork, maps, logos, music, videos, PDFs, or other media
• Large extracts, boxed text, stat blocks, adventure content, or lore passages from third-party works
• Content that could replace or substitute for buying the original book, adventure, or product
• Content that suggests your summary is official, licensed, sponsored, or endorsed when it is not

Fan content and third-party worlds

Many tabletop groups play in worlds, settings, or adventures created by publishers, creators, or other fans. If you reference third-party content, you are responsible for following any applicable licence, permission, or fan content policy.

DungeonTome is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any tabletop publisher unless we say so explicitly.

Public summaries

Some DungeonTome summaries can be shared using a public link. Anyone with the link may be able to view that summary. Please make sure anything you publish is appropriate to share and does not include material you are not allowed to share.

Prohibited content (zero-tolerance)

• Illegal or Harmful Content
  • CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) or any sexual content involving minors (real or fictional)
  • Non-consensual sexual content, sexual assault, or depictions of sexual violence
  • Hate speech: Racist, sexist, transphobic, antisemitic, or other bigoted content
  • Real-world harassment or threats of violence against individuals or groups
  • Doxxing: Posting private, identifying, or personal information about others
  • Terrorism or violent extremism, including glorification of hate groups
• Content Quality & Intent
  • Spam, junk content, or meaningless AI-generated material without user intent or curation
  • Shock images or extreme gore created for the purpose of disturbing others
  • Deepfakes or manipulated imagery used maliciously

Reports and takedowns

If you believe a DungeonTome summary infringes your rights or contains unlawful or harmful content, please use the Report button on the summary page or contact us at [email protected] with:

• The link to the content
• A brief description of the issue
• Your contact details
• Any information that helps us review the report

We may remove, hide, disable access to, or restrict content at our discretion, with or without notice. We may also restrict accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate this policy.
